HTC TyTN II Kaiser MMS & GPRS configuration

Step 1: CONFIGURE GPRS Internet connection
1.  Go to Start>Settings the tab Connections
2.  Tap icon Connections
3.  Under
My ISP tap Add a new modem connection
4.  Enter a name for the connection: "Tim internet"
5.  Select a modem: Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G)
6.  Tap Next
7.  Access point name (APN) : "tim.com.br"
     This APN is bouncing so I put "ibox.tim.it" which works
8.  Tap Next
9.  User name: tim or leave empty
10. Password: tim or leave empty
11. Domain*: Leave empty
12. Tap Advanced
13. Under tab TCP/IP
14. Mark only Use server-assigned IP address
15. Other fileds keep empty
16. Under tab Servers
17. Mark only Use server-assigned IP address
18. Other fields keep empty
19. Tap OK in the upper right row
20. Tap Finish in the lower right row
21. Tap OK in the upper right row

It is quite difficult to find a configuration of GPRS and MMS functions for  mobile communicator HTC TyTN II Kaiser for the provider TIM Brasil (in Brazil). Similar config can be done for other celular providers outside of Brazil.
Below I tried following configuration which gave positive results:

Step 2: CONFIGURE  WAP
1.   Go to Start>Settings the tab Connections
2.   Tap icon Connections
3.   Under
My Work Network tap Add a new modem connection
4.   Enter a name for the connection: "Tim Wap"
5.   Select a modem: Celular Line
6.   Tap Next
7.   Enter the number exactly as it should be dialed. Include any
      extra numbers, such as an outside line or credit card: *600
8.   Tap Next
9.   User name: tim
10. Password: tim
11. Domain*: Leave empty
12. Tap Advanced
13. On tab TCP/IP
14  Mark only Use server-asigned IP address
15. Tick Use software comprssion
16  Tick Use IP header compression
17. Do not tick Use slip
18. Under tab Servers
19. Mark only Use server-assigned IP address
20. Other fields keep empty
21. Tap OK in the upper right
22. Tap Finish in the lower right
23. Tab OK in the upper right
Step 3: CONFIGURE  WAP Fast
1. Go to Start>Settings the tab Connections
2. Tap icon Connections
3. Under
My Work Network tap Add a new modem connection
5. Enter a name for the connection: "Tim Wap Fast"
6. Select a modem: Celular Line (GPRS, 3G)
7. Tap Next
8. Access point name: "wap.timbrasil.com.br"
9. Tap Next
10. User name: tim
11. Password: tim
12. Domain*: Leave empty
13. Tap Advanced
14. Under tab TCP/IP
14. Mark Use server-asigned IP address
15. Other fields keep empty
18. Under tab Servers
19. Mark Use server-assigned IP address
20. Other fields keep empty
21. Tap OK in the upper right
22. Tap Finish in the lower right
23. Tab OK in the upper right

Step 4: CONFIGURE  Proxy
1.   Go to Start>Settings the tab Connections
2.   Tap icon Connections
3.   Under
My Work Network tap Setup my proxy server
4.   Under tab Proxy settings
5.   Tick The network connects to the Internet
6.   Tick This network uses a proxy server to connect
      to the internet
7.   Tap Advanced - you will see 4 rows
8.   Tap on row WAP
9.   Server: put IP 200.244.116.65  Port: 9201
10. Other fields keep empty
11. Tap OK in upper right
12. Tap on row Secure WAP
13 .Server: put IP 200.244.116.65  Port: 9201
14. Other fields keep empty
15. Tap OK in upper right
16. Tap OK in upper right
17. Tap OK in upper right
Step 5: CONFIGURE  MMS system
1. Go to Start>Messaging
2. Tap row SMS \ MMS
3. Below right tap Menu
4. Tap MMS Options
5. On Tab Preferencies
     Tick "Save sent messages" "Allow delivery report" 
     "Allow read report" (don't tick Reject all messages)
     Retrieval mode: Auto
     Attampts before giving up: 1
     Photo resolution: Original
6. On Tab Blacklist - normally leave empty
7. On Tab Servers
     Tap "New
8. Server name: "TimMMS"
     Gateway: 200.179.66.242
     Port number: 8080
     Server address: http://mms.tim.br/servlets/mms
     Connect via: My Work Network
     Send limit: 300K
     WAP Version: WAP 1.2 (for other providers try
     WAP 2.0)
9. Tap in lower left Done
10. On Tab About is just info re MMS composer
11. Tab OK in upper right
